JOB SUMMARYSupports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by executing coreresponsibilities, focused on acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty andby wearing a body worn camera. Supports a positive customer shopping experience in the storeand maintains a strong store partnership with store teams and loss prevention. Exercises soundjudgment in decision-making to ensure their safety, the safety of others, and the protection ofthe Company brand. Adheres to Company policies and maintains and supports Companyculture and values.Duties and Responsibilities* Maintains a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store.* Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss/dishonesty.* Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide sections titled EvacuatingPeople with Disabilities, Missing Child, Store Disturbances, Fire, SevereWeather/Natural Disaster, Bomb Threat, and Imminent Threat.* Wear a complete Company approved uniform.* Wears a Company-issued Body Worn Camera, engages the camera during approvedsituations for legal, safety, and training purposes, and adheres to proper use of the bodyworn camera as outlined in policy and procedure.* Greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect.* Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.* Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management orcustomer service via a Company issued radio.* Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or storemanagement.* Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.* Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure to not detain, stop, apprehend, chase, follow,pursue, question, or accuse anyone of dishonesty or make a customer feel uncomfortable inany way.* Remain in their designated area of the store (aside from breaks).* Call police only when directed by the appropriate LP Associate or Store Management in anemergency.WAGE RANGE :Start 16.85 Mid 18.25 Max 23.45
