Job Details Job Location Gene Matthews Club - Northport, FL Position Type Part Time Education Level Graduate Degree Salary Range $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly Travel Percentage None Description The Boys & Girls Clubs' environment is a fast-paced and fun place for kids ages 6-18. The Clubs are open after school during the academic year, and all day long in the summer and with some school breaks. Youth fill our Clubs and are looking for a safe place to engage with peers and have FUN. To be impactful in this setting, the Social Worker must be flexible, able to work with kids in a variety of settings, work collaboratively with a team of Club employees, react quickly to stressful situations, briefly cover various rooms if needed, interact positively with kids and families of all backgrounds, and maintain an emotionally positive environment for kids. Key Responsibilities Provide therapeutic and behavioral support for children and families to promote success in the Club, school, home, and community. Integrating a social and emotional lens into their work. Social Workers provide impactful individual and group therapy, case management, consultation, crisis intervention, grief support and referral work. Work collaboratively with Club employees, public school district employees and other public entities who support the child and connects the family to all appropriate care. Qualifications Qualifications: Master's degree in social work (MSW) or similar degree required Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with youth development principles and practices.
