Volt is immediately hiring for a Senior Project Scheduler in Richland, Washington.Position Type: Full Time (Contract)Duration: 12+ Months ContractLocation: Richland, Washington-OnsiteAs a Senior Project Scheduler, you will: * Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for Nuclear Development projects, incorporating all project phases from initiation to completion. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary data for accurate scheduling. * Identify potential schedule risks, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines are adhered to. * Utilize scheduling software to create visual aids, Gantt charts, and other tools to report progress to senior management and stakeholders. * Lead scheduling strategy meetings and provide expert advice on schedule optimization, adjustments, and potential impacts of changes. * Ensure integration of schedules across multiple projects and disciplines, promoting a cohesive approach to project execution. * Conduct scenario analysis and planning for best case, probable case, and worst-case scenarios. * Prepare reports for analyzing variations and comparing baseline approved schedules to progress schedules including critical path method, resource loading, cost loading, manpower, submittals projections of impacts, and recovery plans.Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 4 years focused on large-scale, mega projects. * Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is mandatory. * Strong understanding of project management processes, EVM (Earned Value Management), and risk management. * Experience in Nuclear industry, renewable energy or construction is highly desirable.Desired Education & Experience: * SRO License or Certification * Individual must have advanced knowledge in work management and outage work processes and procedures. * Advanced knowledge of the Passport program and database, including the interface to the Primavera scheduling program. * Advanced knowledge of the Primavera scheduling program and basic scheduling techniques. * Primavera 106 Training Certification or four years of experience using Primavera Scheduling software. * Working knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis. * Working knowledge of the outage risk management and on-line risk management software (Paragon). * PMP certification. * Working knowledge of management techniques (e.g., situational leadership, performance management, time management, etc.).Pay Range: $75-$80 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
