Overview The Finance assistant role is a crucial part of the Finance team, focusing primarily on ensuring the delivery of strong financial control and risk management. Key Responsibilities; Assisting with the delivering accurate and timely monthly management reporting Ensuring all balance sheet accounts for which you have ownership are transparent and have user-friendly monthly reconciliation schedules that tie back to the trial balance – with particular emphasis on bank reconciliations Document each key accounting process and publish written work instructions that can be followed Identifying areas of potential accounting reporting risks and developing effective controls Providing auditors’ requests for information promptly and accurately Mentoring and supporting development of more junior team members Acting a backup and support to.
