JOB TITLE: Finance Officer. HOURS: 18.5. CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent. LOCATION: Norwich, Norfolk. SALARY: £22,400 pro rata. DBS CHECK: Basic ABOUT THE ROLE: • To provide financial & administrative support for the Senior Finance Officer and Business and Central Services Manager. • To maintain, process, and record all financial transactions for Leeway on Sage. • Keep accurate records and report accordingly. • To assist in producing financial reports or projected costings as required. • To record all financial transactions for Leeway on Sage. • To process purchase invoices, credit card transactions and staff expenses. • To assist in producing financial reports or projected costings as required. • To assist in the preparation of all accounts for submission to Leeway’s Accountants/Auditors at Year end. • To record income/expenditure and update schedules of funding for specific projects. • To prepare invoices for funders and debtors and chase up payments when required. • To carry out designated administration tasks and to follow Leeway’s financial and administration systems as required. • To attend relevant meetings when requested. • To attend relevant training and staff supervision according to Leeway’s staff development policy. • To carry out any such duties that may be required by the Senior Finance Officer or Business and Central Services Manager. • To help out and take part on request with any other such duties to support the organisational function, duties & aims of the charity. • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends where required. Essential Skills and Experience: • AAT level 3 or equivalent (or working towards). • Experience of invoicing. • A firm understanding of Credit Control. • Good Microsoft Word and Excel IT skills. • Good communication skills. • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. • Ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent organisational skills. • Full UK driving license and ability.
