Job Title: Finance Assistant Location: Newbury Salary: GBP32,000 : GBP35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Job type: Full Time, Permanent About Us: Kosnic Lighting has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Finance professional to join our exciting and growing company. This is your chance to utilise your knowledge and experience in a busy and varied role. You must have a passion for numbers, attention to detail and accuracy. About The Role: Full ownership of the purchase ledger, processing, obtaining approval, posting and scanning of the invoices Ensure all invoices are approved and assigned to correct nominal code Supplier statement and general ledger reconciliations Bank reconciliations and preparing payment runs Cash flow management Credit card reconciliations Processing Company employee expenses claims Assist with monthly payroll cycle and sales commissions Provide support to yearly audits Journal postings; including prepayments, accruals, GRNI and depreciation/sample journals Reconciliation of creditors and debtors and other balance sheet accounts Supporting with month: end preparation of accounts Assisting and covering for the Financial Controller About you: At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role is essential AAT level 4 qualified or qualified by experience Inquisitive mindset and good initiative Excellent attention to detail Strong organisation skills Flexible approach to work, self: motivated and ability to prioritise Analytical and ability to understand complex processes Enjoys problem solving and taking ownership Enthusiastic and always up for a challenge Benefits: Salary up to GBP32,00 to GBP35,000 (dependent on experience) 23 days holidays + bank holidays + chillax days Pension Contribution to gym membership Private healthcare plus dental and optical cashback Cycle to work scheme and more x2026; Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
