Finance Assistant : Restaurant and Bars Group Role: Finance Assistant Location: West London (Hybrid : 3 days in the office) Salary: Up to A GBP 35,000 This group has been operating in the Hospitality scene for almost 60 years. Not only do they operate some incredible venues in the UK, but they also have a strong presence in Europe with an array of beautiful pubs, bars, and accommodations. Im looking for someone with a strong bookkeeping side, including journal entries, prepayment, and accruals, with exposure to the month: end process and P and L review as well as an understanding of balance sheet reconciliation. Responsibilities Assisting with UK Monthly Management Accounts. Ensuring that Group financial records are updated properly. Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly site MIS is accurate and reported by Group timetables and policy. Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of group Revenue Recognition policies and MIS. Assist with the development of transaction processing systems and accounting environment to achieve standard processes wherever possible and more efficient operation. Collaborating with other divisions to achieve best solutions for clients and staff. Sustaining strong relationships with business unit management, peers and colleagues. Maintaining awareness of industry and accountancy practices and procedures through networking and reading appropriate articles/publications. The Successful Applicant Netsuite experience preferable. A finance professional with at least 3 years relevant experience in a Hospitality or Retail business. You will be qualified/part qualified and studying towards attaining a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA). Good Excel skills You will be career: orientated, driven and highly motivated to succeed in your role and develop into more senior roles within Finance or the wider business.
