Financial Controller Location: West London Salary: A GBP 60:75k Sector: Hospitality The Financial Controller will lead and manage the UK Finance Division to deliver accurate, timely and complete financial information to the Group Finance Controller (GFC) and to drive the financial performance of the UK operating units by working closely with the Regional Operations Manager. Responsibilities Providing all statutory financial information for the relevant business units Providing all management accounts including commentary on performance, KPIs and budget/forecast variances on a monthly basis Reviewing operating performance with the Regional Operations Director on a monthly Preparation and submission of sites annual business plans and budgets and quarterly forecasts to the Group FD Managing and reporting on business unit cash flow and treasury arrangements Manage audit appointments, ensure audits are completed in a timely fashion Provision of Covenant compliance certificates for lenders and landlords Manage Group policies regarding debt, taxation and equity for business units Managing the business unit tax position for corporate, payroll and BTW to mitigate tax risk and optimise the business unit tax position Managing the UK finance team Managing and controlling all financial transactions and accountancy matters, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger including implementing and reviewing audit systems Maintaining awareness of tax and legal regulations in relevant entities for corporates and employees Sustaining business unit key external relationships with auditors, banks, lenders, suppliers etc. Candidate Profile Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Multi: site hospitality experience Strong excel skills Excellent communication skill.
