An international manufacturing group based close to Manchester Airport is looking for an ambitious Group Financial Controller to support the CFO and the wider business. Along with a salary of up to GBP 65,000 per annum, you will also receive flexitime, and free onsite parking. This role would suit a Qualified Accountant, either experienced in Finance Manager/Controller role, or a Top 4 ACA Qualified Accountant seeking a first industry move. As Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include: : Preparing accurate and timely consolidated management accounts and board packs ready for CFO review : Analysing business performance daily, weekly, and monthly and reporting variances and root cause analysis : Forecasting and managing group cash and regular reporting : Developing integrated financial models for forecasting and budgeting : Working with the CFO to manage robust budget and forecasting processes for presentation internally and externally : Ensuring the annual audit process runs smoothly and to time : Working with the UK and overseas Finance teams to ensure monthly management accounts are prepared accurately and in time with the Finance timetable : Implementing, standardising, and improving group wide reporting and controls : Ensuring that all ledgers are being reconciled regularly and balance sheet reconciliation done diligently in collaboration with the finance team : Reviewing and approving payment runs and spending requests : Coaching the finance team and implement a continuous improvement culture : Managing the insurance requirements for the UK companies What we're looking for in a Group Financial Controller: : A CIMA, ACA, ACCA Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and proven financial control experience ideally gained within a progressive, fast paced business. : Experience of managing multi: site teams in a medium to large company preferably with some international experience : Advanced Microsoft excel skills...
