Opening for full time Accounting Assistant based in Metairie LA. Primary Responsibilities Performs data entry for restaurant daily sales reports, invoicing, and day to day bank account activity. Assists with accounts payable and receivable functions. Assists with payroll data entry. Performs monthly bank account reconciliations. Performs entry of credit card transactions and reconciles their bank statements. Assists with cash accountability at the restaurant level. Handles archiving and filing of routine documents. Manages supplies needed in the accounting department. Generally maintains an organized office environment. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) Must be able to interact in a positive, friendly manner with others, with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Must be driven to strive to succeed and grow with Fat Boy's Pizza. Must be able to be relied upon for a strong effort. Must have previous experience in an office environment, accounting experience is extremely helpful but not critical. Possess excellent time management skills. Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Familiarity with utilizing restaurant systems, H/R, and other related software packages.
