OverviewPhysician office seeking experienced medical biller and collector for office, hospital and dialysis unit encounters.Job DescriptionThe medical biller and collector verifies documentation and proper coding, scrubs claims, corrects claims, sends claims, confirms claims have been accepted by the payer, and follows up on outstanding claims over 30 days in A/R.Requirements 3+ years in collection in ASC or outpatient surgery Familiar with PPO; HMO, Medicare and Texas Medicaid, as well as out of network denials Independent and able to account for outstanding A/R with well documented notes Ability to prioritize, organize work, and complete assignments in a timely matter Proficient in Microsoft Suite Compassionate and customer-focused Spanish preferred but not required Job Posted by ApplicantPro
