My client a subsidiary of a leading US-based service commerce platform, who contributes to my client’s suite of Software as a Service Saa S solutions, benefiting a global customer base of over 500,000 are seeking 2 Snr Finance Assistants to assist the Finance Manager on a 1 year FTC at their offices in Princes Risborough. The role is paying between £27,000 - £30,000 per annum doe. It is a hybrid role with 1 day in the office and 4 at home. The role involves: Assist with monthly invoicing for UK and Australia customers. Support monthly disbursement of client funds through BACS payment scheduling. Manage accounts email inbox and handle incoming queries/tickets. Update control documents, ensuring adherence to the company’s financial processes, and apply double checks for accuracy in line with company policy. Process creditor invoices, post in the correct general ledger, organise payments, and deliver reports to the Finance Manager. You will assist with completing UK VAT and Australian GST returns on a quarterly basis and the reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts. You will be responsible for being current on the latest Industry and Compliance requirements including FCA mandatory training in order to assist in the completion of Anti Money Laundering Checks and FCA compliance tasks. Essential Skills and experience Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial records management Excellent record keeping, organisational skills and attention to detail Good analytical, numerical reasoning and problem solving skills Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills Good communication skills both oral and written Must be IT literate with excellent MS Excel skills Ability to follow processes and procedures to ensure accuracy Ability to work by yourself and as part of a Team with minimal supervision Previous experience in a similar role Desirable Skills and Experience Grade C and above GCSE or equivalent in core subjects.
